• The Ring o Bells in Wookey do a fantastic roast and I do confess we have treated ourselves to a Sunday roast from here recently and it was fantastic! Free local delivery.
• The Westbury Inn have been offering a weekly menu and are service Sunday roasts for collection from midday to 2.30pm then the full menu from 5-7pm. Free delivery to over 70’s.
• Strawberry Line Tea Rooms, Winscombe are offering a Father’s Day afternoon tea complete with sandwiches, savoury scones with butter and pickle, pork pie, scotch egg, handmade sausage rolls, slice of cake and a Thatcher’s Cider

A Trip Out

• For something a bit different take a trip out to Middlewick, there is a Farm Shop and a Café with beautiful gardens and scenery to explore with plenty of space to allow for social distancing while you are there.
• The gardens are now open at The Bishop’s Palace, Wells or Kilver Court, Shepton Mallet so you could take stroll and grab a coffee and slice of cake to take away at either of these attractions.
