Wells Recreation Ground, Wells

Wells Recreation Ground close to the city centre and the Bishops Palace, a perfect place to visit whilst on a stroll around the beautiful city centre.

There is a fantastic play area with equipment suitable for pre-school and junior aged children, including swings, roundabouts and a seesaw. There is also a large wooden fort for children to round around in and climb up.

The play area is really spacious but enclosed with only one entrance in and out, so it feels very safe for your children to run around. If you have really little ones, you would need to keep a closer eye on them in the fort as it is solid in structure so you cannot always see them from a distance.

There are also wooden tables & benches within the enclosed area if you fancy a sit down whilst the children play.

Set slightly away from the play area is outdoor gym equipment for use by all ages.

This is all situated next to a large playing field, perfect for team games, ball games, dog walking and running.

Wells Recreation Ground is a really lovely spot so if you find yourself on a day out in Wells with children, we would hihgly recommend swinging by the park for an hour or so.
